ARTIST: Susan Lynch

OPEN: by appointment

Individual and functional vessels and earthenware made from clay dug straight from the earth is the practice of artist, Susan Lynch. ‘The direct experience of the site and its clay allows me to connect with the past and present of places and to work through questions of identity.’ Exploring the ancient methods and history of earthenware pottery as one of the oldest human inventions is the foundation for Susan’s practice. Offering masterclasses in her home studio, Susan takes you on a journey of discovery to learn how to dig for and prepare clay and create your own unique pieces.
